Rene' comes to Dwight Davis Tennis Center after years of experience as a head tennis pro and coach. Rene' is a USPTA certified professional and has coached teams to 6 NCAA Division I Conference Championships and 4 NCAA Team Qualifications. Rene' is a member of the USA Tennis High Performance Coaching Program and has years of experience directing junior high performance programs, as well as running camps and clinics for youth and adults. Rene' served as a senior coach on the Evert Tennis Academy team and also served as the on-site technical advisor for Venus and Serena Williams' book, How to Play Tennis. We are excited to welcome Rene' to DDTC.

Jess comes to Dwight Davis after coaching the women's team at Principia College in Elsah, IL. She has a degree in graphic design from Principia where she also played tennis all four years. Jess is a USPTA certified professional and enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilitiles. She works with wheelchair athletes and has a large involvement in the US Open, St. Louis wheelchair tennis tournament held here at Dwight Davis.

Chrissy Derouin is originally from Moline, IL, where she grew up in a large tennis family receiving instruction from her Dad and her five Division I siblings. She is currently working towards her Masters in Social Work at Washington University, and is excited to still have her foot in tennis at DDTC. She played Division I tennis at Iowa State University on a full scholarship where she was team captain, All Big 12 First Team, an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and tallied wins against Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Kansas, and Kansas State. In high school, Chrissy was doubles runner up in the Illinois State Championship. Throughout her tennis career, she has taught at numerous clinics and camps.
Amanda Mathieson - amanda_dwightdavistennis.com
Amanda Mathieson begins her first year as an assistant teaching professional at the DDTC. A standout collegiate varsity athlete in both tennis and basketball, Amanda is a graduate of Principia College. Amandas significant experience working with kids is paying dividends at DDTC as she has taken a leadership role in the junior development program while also serving players of all levels. DDTC welcomes Amanda as a terrific addition to the team.

Adam Kopp - student assistant
Adam is one of the top junior players in St. Louis and at Ladue Horton High School. A leader on the Ladue boys' varsity team , Adam assists with DDTC's clinics for kids and adults.
